UCLA IEEE Micromouse 2013
  • Micromouse is a multifaceted embedded systems project where members learn and apply knowledge in microcontroller programming, algorithm analysis, signal processing, feedback control, and circuit design. It involves designing and building a small autonomous robot to traverse a 16x16 maze.
  • Designed power and mode indication systems for our Micromouse PCB using EAGLE Design Software.
  • Programmed error correction, braking, turning, and forward moving functions for the Micromouse microcontroller using Arduino code. Solidified team dynamics and time management.
  • Took fourth place at the 2013 UCLA All-America Micromouse Competition, (UCLA team "Squirtle" results here).
